Why do adults love kids’ movies?

People often identify with the search for the meaning of life undertaken by the characters. They want to see that the characters find their rightful place in life. If Mufusa could take out life cover for Simba, the cub would’ve certainly known that his dad was leaving him a legacy of love and encouragement. If it wasn’t for the deceitful Scar, Simba would’ve taken his rightful place as the true king of the Pride Lands on Pride Rock without experiencing hardship in the wasteland. And if Dorothy’s parents in the Wizard of Oz could leave her a life insurance payout, her guardians may have taken actual note of her appeal to keep her dog and running away may not have been considered. Nonetheless, there’s something to be said about a little girl having to clap her heels three times and repeat “there’s no place like home”.

Career opportunities in disaster management

One of the sad realities of life is that once in a while, disaster will strike. It may be a stampede at a stadium event, heavy rains that wash away houses or a hurricane that wrecks everything in its path. Thankfully,Stenden now provides students with the option to study disaster management. Anyone working in this field has become something of a hero to those left vulnerable by disasters. Not only do they put the necessary plans in place to ensure that damage is kept to a minimum, but they bring a sense of hope to people who have, more often than not, lost all of their worldly possessions.
Having a disaster management degree means that you get to help those who need it most.

Why insurance companies won't cover diabetes

Most life insurance providers regard diabetes as a high-risk disease. Being diabetic means you are at higher risk of developing complications such as eye, kidney, heart and nerve damage. Additionally, diabetes increases the possibility of developing hypertension (high blood pressure), hypercholesterolaemia (high blood cholesterol), heart disease and strokes.

Insurers who do accept patients with diabetes are bound to increase their premiums significantly as the risk to insure them are above average. That’s why taking out life insurance at a young, healthy age can prove beneficial.

Mudlark River Lodge

Every June, Southern Right Whales stop by South African shores for a visit until November. During this period, they gather in the San Sebastian Bay; a safe haven for them to congregate with their young and have their own holiday in our waters. Here the whales breed and calve, providing some of the best whale watching in the world.

In addition to whales, the area provides visitors with a large array of animal life including dolphins, wild cats, birds and buck. Just a few km away is the Mudlark River Lodge located within the Lower Breede River Conservancy on the banks of the Breede River itself The lodge provides the best of the Breede; from comfortable accommodation to guided fishing trips, bird-watching and, of course, whale watching. With scores of satisfied customers, Mudlark River Lodge should be where you stay to explore this wonderfully secluded and tranquil part of South Africa.
